About Us
Megan (Dirty Clay Co.) is a potter who focuses on textures and color to create unique fun & functional creamic pieces. Stacey (Earth Knots) is a talented fiber artist specializing in macrame & weaving. Together Megan & Stacey are Thrown Threads, a business formed from friendship & a shared passion to create a space for art & community. Megan & Stacey met in 2022 when both Dirty Clay Co. & Earth Knots were part of the 2022 Batavia Boardwalk season. They started Thrown Threads in 2023 and the rest is history!

What are your business hours?
We are open by appointment only. Workshops require online registration. Pottery Pickup hours are
Mon 12-2p, Tues 5:30-8p, and Sat. 10-12p
Do you have gift cards?
Yes! Gift cards are avaliable for purchase in store or online and can be used on in store merchandise and workshops. However, you will need to call to use your gift card for workshop registration.
Do you host private events?
Yes! Contact us using our contact form below for private party inquiries. Please specify what type of event you are interested in: Macrame, Weaving, or Pottery
Do I need a reservation?
All of our workshops and classes are pre-registration only unless otherwise advertised. See the links in the Workshop section to register. Retail shopping is welcome to anyone by appointment only. Contact Megan at (630) 780-9012
